At South Shore Gunite Pools, we include our exclusive Partnership in Excellence warranty program. No other builder offers a stronger, or longer pool protection plan and it is included with every pool we build.

Quality that lasts a lifetime. We insure in house quality control by managing the construction of your swimming pool with licensed supervisors, and without the use of sub-contractors. That means for the entire duration of your pool's construction you will have in-house quality control, and all work performed by in-house crews.

Our 3-D pool layout drawings will provide detailed ideas for your pool and deck layout. Remember the shape and size are virtually unlimited, so feel free to think outside the box. Design services are included with all residential contracts.

VANISHING EDGE FEATURE

 

South Shore Gunite specializes in Vanishing Edge Features. Sizing of Catch pool, Overflow gutter, Perimeter Systems and surge vessel displacement calculations must be taken into careful consideration for proper function in terms of make up water, bather displacement, and adequate circulation.
Vanishing Edge pools are commonly referred to as:

• Negative Edge
• Infinity Edge
• Zero Edge

Europeans have been building these designs for over 100 years, and the first negative edge pool in the U.S. was built in the 1950s, when architect John Lautner designed 'Silvertop' for a private residence in Silver Lake, California. Interestingly, popularity in the United States only dates back to the early 90's. The vanishing, Infinity or Negative edge pool or spa design features at least one side over which water continually flows into a catch basin below.
